Garage rock quartet The Paranoyds have dropped a fantastic new single in the form of ‘BWP’. On the message behind the track, vocalist and guitarist Lexi explains: “Every now and then there are those days and sometimes even weeks where it just feels like you're in a rut--for me they're usually induced by some sort of gnarly LA heatwave or fire (if I'm really unlucky, it's both!). All you can really do to escape the heat is daydream, but daydreaming day-to-day...it's just not the same." It’s a rigid, edgy track that lets a distorted lead vocal sit atop the whirring of synths and a variety of engaging guitar parts. They range from clean, playful countermelodies to the crunch of overdrive that punches its way through the texture for the chorus.
